Personal Information:

Abraham Logee Jr. was probably born in Salem, Massachusetts about 1720. On 13 Jan 1748/9 Abraham "Loge" of Smithfield and  Hannah "Peckren" (probably Pickering) filed a marriage intention in Mendon, Massachusetts1. They were married on 5 Feb 1748/49 at Smithfield, Rhode Island2.  A Pickering Genealogy listed Hannah as born 21 Dec 1729 at Salem, Mass., the daughter of Edward Pickering3. A firm connection of the Hannah in Salem and Hannah wife of Abraham Logee Jr. has not been proven. Based on the will of Hopestill Logee, Abraham's mother, Abraham and Hannah had four children4. Other than their daughter Abigail, no additional information has been discovered about their other children.

Abraham joined the British Army from Rhode Island. He died on Havana, Cuba during the war with Spain about 1765. His probate was filed in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury in England5. The administration was listed as follows "Abraham Loge a private in the Rhode Island Regiment of Foot who died in Havana (1765). Administration by his solemn declaration to Joseph Sherwood attorney for the relict, Hannah Loge of Rhode Island.

The timeframe would fit and Mary Straight does not fit into other proven Logee descendants.]
