Albert "Elmer" Taylor was born on 17 May 1866 in Indiana (probably Fountain County)1. He was the son of William Smith Taylor and Mary Campbell. He grew up in Fountain County living first in Richland and later in Cain township2. On 24 Jan 1893 he married Loraine Frazier in Fountain County3.

Mary Lorena "Loraine" Frazier was born in 1872 and was the daughter of David and Molly (Burn) Frazier4. The family appears to have resided continually in the Hillsboro area until at least 1909. In 1908 their youngest child, Ida Mae Taylor, died when only about 3 years old. On 4 May 1909 Loraine followed in death from Pulmonary Tuberculosis4.

Between 1909 and 1918 "Elmer" Taylor and his children had all moved to various locations in the Indianapolis area5. In his later years he returned to lived in the Crawfordsville, Montgomery County area6. He was a member of the Ingersoll Chapel church SW of Crawfordsville. He died about 29 Jul 1943 of a Cerebral Hemorrhage while at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery near Hillsboro beside his wife and infant daughter7.

  3. Frazier Morton Taylor b. 29 Apr 1899 Hillsboro, Indiana; employed as a group leaded with International Harvester Co. in 1947 and resided at 717 N. Tremont, Indianapolis; m. Ruth Lee Wilson 29 Apr 1921 Marion County, Indiana; she b. 23 Jun 1903 Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana d/o Henry and Isabelle Anne (Herring) Wilson.
